FAQ:
Who will be photographing / filming our wedding?
Unless we speak with you about it prior, you will ALWAYS be having me & my fiancé as your professionals for the day! We rarely outsource any of our work, and only do so if we are already booked that date & you'd really still love to have our company as your main point of contact (we would still take care of the contracts, calls, editing, etc). This is rare though, and instead we will usually send you recommendations of other photographers/videographers we've loved working with so you can book with them directly.
What is the average turn around time to receive all deliverables?
For regular photo sessions - within 2 weeks. For weddings - we always say 8-10 weeks max, but we try to deliver as soon as possible. This usually depends on the season also (ex. weddings in March can expect shorter turn around times than weddings in October, as by October we have a more extensive editing queue).
How does your payment plan work?
Usually our wedding & event packages are 50% down as a non-refundable retainer / deposit & the remaining 50% due one month prior to the wedding / event date. If necessary, we definitely are open to discussing a payment plan that may work better for you, but a deposit is always required to secure the date. For regular photo sessions, full payment is due at the time of booking your session.
How long have you & your partner been doing this for?
We shot our very first wedding together in 2014. Initially, we did it on the side as freelancers. Once covid hit in 2020, we took a step back from the business as many weddings were being postponed. By 2022, we were fully invested and dove right in to making this a full-on business! Currently, we photograph & film between 25-40 weddings per wedding season.
Can I customize a package myself if none of them fit our day?
Absolutely! We definitely want to make sure your special day is exactly how you envision it. If you're interested in a customized quote, just fill our out inquiry form and list out everything you are looking for & we will create one just for you!
Do you travel?
Definitely! Besides photography & videography, traveling is one of our passions. We've shot weddings all over the USA & try to minimize travel fees as much as possible.
Do you have backup gear & replacement shooters if needed?
When it comes to gear, I always say that we probably have TOO much, so that is never an issue.
As for replacement shooters, we work with other photographers & videographers often so we ALWAYS will have a replacement for you if something unexpected were to come up.
How do we receive our gallery?
Photos & videos will be delivered digitally. The gallery link will be available for one month & you are able to share with others to download also. We also offer flash drives, 10x10 photo albums & motion books (for video). You can see pricing for these under 'add ons' on any of the Packages pages.
If I want to book, what are the next steps?
All you have to do is let us know that you would like to move forward with us & we will create a contract / invoice for you to go over & then you just pay the deposit to lock in the date. Simple & easy!
